Looking for help with a Kernel problem. Rom devs and kernel experts welcome to look

This is the problem. If I Flash anything but an HTC Kernel on my Evo regardless of ROM it behaves really weird:

-Sense Rom running HTC Kernel = Fine
-Sense Rom running Netarchy Kernel= Phone will sometimes go to sleep and not wake up unless I pull battery
-Sense Rom running Ziggy Kernel= Phone will randomly reboot if 4G=On (regardless if its in scanning mode or connected)

-Non-Sense Rom running HTC Kernel =fine
-Non-Sense Rom running Netarchy Kernel = phone goes to sleep wont wake up
-Non Sense Rom running Ziggy Kernel= phone randomly reboots if 4G=On position

HTC Evo 4G revision 003.
Was rooted using unrevoked. (I undid the root and rerooted using adb and Simpleroot as well thinking that may have been the reason)
-Wimax radio is up to date
-Pri is up to date
-PRL is up to date
-Radio is up to date.
-using Clockwork Mod

I somehow think it's tied in with Wimax. If 4G is in the off position I do not have issues from just testing. Any suggestions are welcome.

It may be that your phone doesn't like undervolting. Try a non undervolted kernel.

point me in the direction of one and I will give it a go. The question is why does it behave this way only when 4G is turned on? (regardless if its scanning for a 4G network or actually connected)

It might behave that way because the 4g needs alot of volts and undervolting may be hurting it.

Go on the netarchy thread and grab one with no havs and no undervolting.
