I installed the Skinomi product on my Incredible last night... The information advises that it will take a few days for the imperfections, streaks and micro-bubbles to disappear, but i'm looking for some real-world experience here. What is reasonable? How long should i wait for it to clear?
I just installed the PhantomSkinz screen protector and its crystal clear and leaves no smudges

I installed my Skinomi Saturday night, and there is still some weird haze (microbubbles) underneath. At this point, I don't think it will go away. I'll probably end up getting the BSE when it is available, since I'm not too happy with the appearance of the skinomi.
That's not good. My Skinomi came in today. I hope the bubbles clear up. If not, I may be going with the BSE too.
BTW, what's a BSE?

Same. Installed mine Sunday night. Still have some "microbubbles". Theres also some weird vertical lines. Both are barely visible though, Im not sure I care enough to take it off.
Installed Skinomi Monday night around 9:30... I was meticulous as far as finger prints and lint, etc. It hasn't even been 48 hrs yet, so i'm trying to be patient...but i see no improvement yet. The haziness is there, microbubbles....its a shame too because it certainly doesn't get as smudgy but if this doesn't improve by the weekend its coming off and getting replaced.
What are your other suggestions? How long have you had to wait for this to clear up on yours?
Mine was installed Saturday. All day Sunday, it looked like carp. Monday wasn't much better. Yesterday, it started improving, and today it looks pretty good.
My biggest gripe was that, unlike the BSE, this one gave me no wiggle time once it touched the screen, so it is slightly off to the right enough that an edge of it is up on the right "lip". I'm lucky I was as close to centered as I was. The BSE had plenty of time to move it around and get it spot on before leaving it alone to set into place.
Also, the Skinomi doesn't tell you in the directions something they post in their FAQ online (which I found after the fact). You can remove it up to 2 hours (I think that was the amount of time) and start over. But they don't tell you that in the directions...alas![]()
