looking to buy moto 360

Their on sale for $100 off and I'm contemplating buying one, am I crazy? Or is it a good idea to buy one right now. Also, I've been looking at color schemes, I want the black leather band for sure, but I can't decide on color of this case between silver, black or gold (champagne). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I went with the silver with black leather and thought it looked pretty nice. $150 is a pretty good price for it. The new one should be coming out fairly soon so not sure if you want to wait or not.

I love the black case with black band, but I'm told the silver one accessorizes better. And at that price point, you really can't go wrong. The only one I'm contemplating replacing it for would be Huawei's watch, but I'm told that should be quite expensive. And no word yet on a v2 of the 360 yet, so not a bad buy at 150.

I wouldn't mind waiting for the new one, but the price is what's gonna break it for me, $150 is more realistic for me right now, so I think I'm gonna go with that one for now. I was looking at the gold one but its an extra $30 can you post some pics of yours? If you don't mind?

Yeah I saw the black on black and it looks amazing but almost feel like you always have to wear something black for it to look well, idk why its such a hard decision for me haha.

Definitely grab one while they are on sale. My original 360 recently met an untimely end in a pool and I didn't hesitate (much) to buy another one. Personally I still think that it is the best android wear device currently available and at the current price it can't be beat. Both of the ones that I have owned were black on black and personally I think the black on black combo looks slick and is far less conspicuous than the Silver or Champagne ones. Some people like being noticed, not that there is nothing wrong with that, but I am just not one of those people.

I pulled that trigger and I am glad I did. Got one for the wife too. I would get black or stone and put the extra 30 into the steelconnect.co watch band accessory it allows you to change band real easy. And I think it looks great. Good luck. here is my stone version I put $15 band from Amazon with the Steelconnect on it and love the look.

Update: actually switched my mind (as I always do when deciding in color choices for my phones and things like it) and went with this champagne case and black leather band, can't wait til it gets in, hope I'm not disappointed.

I'm not a huge fan of the Champagne color, but hey that's the beauty of choice! Still I think it will pop nicely with the black band.

Yeah it wasn't the first time that it had gone swimming with me either or accidently left on in the shower or something.. although for a while there it did look like it was going to be the last. Long story short, after drying out a bit more now I have two working Moto 360s. These things are definitely tougher than people give them credit for.

I'm thinking of buying one myself as well. Was going to get it from Motorola site. Is there $50 protection plan or any protection worth it or needed?
