Looking to use a Verizon model Galaxy Note 10+ 5G on Xfinity Mobile network. Is this feasible?

I want to purchase a note 10 plus 5g verizon version and I was wondering if anyone here has tried using an unlocked verizon 5g on xfinity mobile? The amount I save a month on this service is great and although they now support 5g and even sell the s20 ultra 5g, they don't sell the note 10 plus 5g. Now verizon does and xfinity mobile uses Verizon for its service. Will this device work? If it does, will the 5g work as well? Where I live at 5g is active. Also forgot to mention that I can buy a 5g 10 plus cheaper than buying a 10 plus through xfinity which is why I'm interested. TIA!

While I don't know the answer to the question, I titled your thread to better convey the question you were trying to ask. I hope this helps you get the information you need!

I work for Comcast and yes you can bring a phone over. The mobile network is backed by Verizon.

Does it matter which model? I've tried purchasing a note 10 plus 5g Verizon, and the seller checked the IMEI and said Xfinity won't take it. It left me confused because Xfinity sells the s20 ultra 5g so I figured the note 10 plus 5g from Verizon would work. Have you verified if the 5g variant works?

So if I buy any note 10 plus that's a Verizon version, it should work, right? Xfinity plus BYOD page confuses me because it seems to reject every IMEI I input that's a note 10 plus.

Same here. Curiously I checked the imeis that I'm using on Verizon(not Verizon variants) and all of them said they don't work. Could be like Verizons imei checker as my S20 Ultra supposedly doesn't work, but I've been using it for over 2 months without any issues.

T-mobile. Use to not register on verizons site as compatible but curiously I checked yesterday and it finally reads my imei and says things are go although I've been using it for months with no issues
What carrier your s20 ultra from?

I would say yes. My note 10 plus that I purchased completely unlocked for Samsung
says the same. I think the imei checker is just not working.

If you've been using unlocked Ultra on Verizon there shouldn't be issues

The issues arised when I tried to get a 5G sim card activated because the system didn't recognize my imei it couldn't be activated. Tried a lot for weeks and finally got a friend with a 5G phone(not Verizon) were imei was recognized by the system and had sim activated. Popped in my phone and begin using phone again like normal.
