loose usb connectors when plug in, is it normal

When my phone is plug in to the charger, I am noticing (what to me) seems like a lot of play (wiggle) between the male and female usb conectors. I was wondering if any other v10 owners are experiencing the same thing or is my just defective.

Charging ports can get looser over time, some quicker than others. I have noticed mine a little looser than day 1 but not anything to be alarmed about yet. i won't get concerned unless I begin having issues charging or able to connect to a computer to transfer files.

Greetings all. I'm new to the site and excited to participate in these conversations.

I too am having this problem. I've had the V10 for 3 days and have noticed 2 things: 1, there is a lot of play when the charging connector is plugged in; 2, because of this it is a little difficult to insert the connector, it does not go in smoothly but instead requires that I wriggle it a bit. I'm concerned that if I am not careful I will damage the charging port.

I noticed mine is like that too. It seems to be worse on aftermarket cables than with the stock one though.

If this is a issue with the v10 and it not a defect with my device alone, I wonder about the long term durability with the charging ports. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same loose connection on their charging ports.

I have many many devices around my work and my home that use micro USB for connectivity and can honestly say the port on this phone is at least as good as the other ones I use all day. I have only had this phone for a little over a week though, so that's worth noting. I plan to get the wireless charging back panel for it though so it won't matter much longer anyway.

Is it easy to replace a loose charging port on the v10 or G4? Anyone have experience or know? Thanks

Mine wiggles sideways a little bit u dinner see why it's a problem. Summer of my other cord are very snug and some hard a little loose.
