Lose Promo Credit if Paying off phone early??

I got a Moto Z Force Droid last December. It was $30/month on the DPP but there was a promo at the time where I'd get a $15 a month bill credit, so more or less I get the phone for half price.

If I were to pay the remaining balance off early would I still continue to get the $15 a month credit until the 24 months from when I got the phone are up?

I don’t believe you will. It’s only active if the DPP is active.

If it's only active of the DPP is active it sounds like I would lose the credit. If I pay the phone off early there is no more DPP.

Good to know. Verizon is giving me $27 per month in bill credits on my iPhone 7 and I was curious how this worked. Mine was due to a trade in on Black Friday ($650) so it would really suck to lose it. Not that I’d risk it, just was curious.
