Losing 3G until reboot

Seems like daily when I move out of Wi-Fi coverage my 3G doesn't come back until I reboot. I have a stock X with gingerbread. My wife has the same phone and it never does this. This also is a new issue with my phone, maybe came with 2.3 or around then.

Any ideas?

Seems to be an issue with Gingerbread. Other users have it as I've seen it posted before. I get it when I don't even use WiFi.

Yep, it's unfortunately a very common issue with the Droid X post Gingerbread update. There have been rumors of a potential update eventually, but who knows if that is true and when it will appear.
