Lost all my contacts. Is there a way to recover them?

[Android Central Question]

The question might sound stupid but its more complex here is what happened:
-Out of the blue on my phone (Huawei Mate 10 light) all my contacts in the phone book turned into "Viber contacts" I couldn't even start a phone call just with Viber, and the contacts app didn't even allow to make changes on them saying they are read only contacts.
-So I started to look for them in the contacts.google.com and it showed only a fraction of my Original contacts (what was on my phone), most of them wasn't even there
-So next stop checking the accounts sync on my phone and as I though it was turned ON
-Next I open my phone app again and all I see is that everything disappeared only whats visible on the google contacts page left, so like 80% of them are gone.

Has anyone expeienced the same and also Is there any way that I can my lost contacts either in Viber or Google?

So in your contact app you don't see your Gmail account you have your numbers sync?
