I had a new A3 (2016) and I loaded my apps onto the phone. But as I have a few apps that I use, I moved a lot onto a 32Gb SD card.
Whenever I reset the phone, the apps on the home screen that were loaded onto the SD card would disappear.
This is unacceptable behaviour for the phone and I had to fight EE and Samsung to get anywhere. Eventually EE gave be a replacement (the original was less than 14 days old).
But now the replacement phone is doing the exact same problems. And I even replaced the SD card with a high speed class 10 card. But to no avail.
There appears to be a fundamental problem with either the Android operating system for Samsung phones (A3 and S3) or this is an issue with the modifications EE does to the base operating system.
Does anyone know the exact cause of this problem?
