Lost LED flashing for notifications

I no longer get a flashing LED notification even though its enabled in the settings. Any idea what would cause this?

did you guys try a battery pull?

i took out battery and it made no difference. I then turned off the LED flash notification and turned it back on and now I it works. Not sure why that fixed it.
