Lost Root

I lost my rooted access but still have a custom recovery, how is that possible?

You can have a ROM with no root and still have a custom recovery. Root your phone again and you'll be fine

I wanted to do it without wiping all my data again, but I got it, I downloaded super su zip and flashed it to get my root back
