Lost Sound recording pls help

Recorded an important meeting at my kids' school. Length says 18 min long, 202 MB. I have a ZTE Zanfare Android. Used the Sound Recorder app to record. I can see it on the list to play but when i push play it says 'Sound Recorder unable to access storage space. I copied it to my Google drive and it says a playback error has occurred. When i try opening it using the music folder, like i was able to do with the last recording, it loads it then when i push play, it says sorry the player does not support this media type. A playback error has occurred. I did rename it right after recording, but that's all it lets me do with it.

What's the file extension (the letters after the dot)?
