Lost space on phone after a failed app installation

I tried to download a big app today (roughly 1.3GB). I had 1.4GB or so free. I guess I didn't have enough space, so when the app went to install, it failed. But now the space that the download took up is gone. I only have a little over 400MB left. How can I clear out that space for an app that is not installed, but partially downloaded? Thanks.

i went through every folder, until i found the file. i am sure there are more files that should be deleted, but i got my space back.
