Hi, I recently flashed the Zefie CM7 rom to my phone. I lost the mms (obviously) and my speaker now plays so low you can barely hear it if you place your ear to it on full volume. I then tried flashing my nandroid backup (from just after I rooted my phone) and still don't have the speaker back to working yet. Also tried, after that, flashing the Rodimus rom just to test and still have same issue. Anybody else have this issue and a resolution to fix it? Thanks.

I have the exact same problem, except its with my headphones. The left one has lower volume than the right (stock headphones). And my other pair of headphones just don't work, but they both work fine when connected to my pc.

My earphone port still works perfectly fine. Wish it was that not working instead of my speaker. I can't very well hear my phone ring through headphones unless I have them on lol. I have done every format/wipe I could find in the newest recovery including the option LG style factory wipe and still nothing is fixing it. The sound I can hear is perfectly fine and worked fine before that ROM I just wish I knew what to do to fix it. :(

I read about the earphones problem but figured it would be fixed when you flashed another ROM like the mms issue. I liked the CM7 rom i just couldnt live without my mms. Ex-wife sends me too many pictures/videos of my boys. :)

Yeah, I tried literally everything I could think of to try to fix it before bothering the good people of android central about it. Granted I've yet to even hear a single idea as to fixing it. Even something that doesn't end up working but is something I haven't tried yet would be appreciated. Obviously nothing like "buy another phone". lol

Here is something I saw in the hidden menus. I don't know if it will help you. Using launcher pro:
Menu -> Add -> Shortcuts -> Activites -> com.lge.LgHiddenMenu -> ServicesLG

When you click it, it will take you to the secret testing menu. Select audio....then I have no idea what you should do next. But if something is not set right, you might be able to find it there. Just a warning, don't mess around with the other features because you can really screw up your phone. You wanted AN idea. Here you go.

Thanks mmarz. I shall go poke around in there, very carefully, when my ex wife lets me hang up on her lol.

Now to find something on the net regarding this menu structure and/or default settings. There are a lot of calibration settings here but not sure what to put in the set data field. Granted I guess I could try anything and not have much to lose regarding my speaker lol.
