I made a backup of this file before editing but where I put this file must have got wiped.out. Can anyone paste the contents of an unedited version of this a100 file? Thanks in advance.

Would probably help to state what version Android you are running.

Also, rooted? Custom Rom?

Oh, sorry. It's a Honeycomb (rooted) with stock Acer A100 ROM. Thank you.
