Lost Tab A. Want to remote reset.

I lost my Samsung Tab A. I tried to lock it remotely but since it doesn't have any cellular service I guess I can't. What I did try was to reset it remotely and it gave me a message it was factory reset. The hope I have is a soon as my tablet gets wi-fi service, it will start the reset.

Is this assumption correct?

Welcome to Android Central! If you did it using Android Device Manager, then yes, you're correct.

I would also change your Google password, if you haven't already. That way, any sensitive data associated with your Google account won't be accessible on that tablet by whoever has it now.
