lost video controls in my stock video app

Anyone knows a work around to get the controls (FF, Rewind etc) back on the stock video App? I somehow lost it. I restarted my phone and clearing my cache but it didn't resolve the issue.

Resolved this issue by activating and then deactivating the multi window option.
