Loud headphone *pop* ending a call

Haven't seen anyone highlighting this issue but here goes... While using earphones (both 3rd party and supplied 'phones) and making/receiving calls, a loud pop is made on hanging up. I can't see in trends in it really... Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

my nexus 4 does it when the microwave or radio is on

Hmm... Interesting. Maybe something going on with the van's electrics then.

Happens to me too when I am around my work car. I might start the call on the cars Bluetooth and I will switch to headphones when I get out of the car. So when I end a call and am still near the car, I get a loud pop when the call ends.

I have the same issue. It is not just around my car or household appliances when it does it. It's on Bluetooth, wired headset, and speaker phone. Glad to know it's not just me. It is fairly loud.

I have the same problem. The pop is SO LOUD! Makes me want to rip the headphones out of my ears. Occurs with any and all headphones I've tried. Not happy about this.
