Just got my A100 and absolutely love it. $328 at Walmart and I got a $50 Gift Card with it, that made it $278! A steal!
Few details of my prior use.. I currently own and HTC Evo as my phone and a Nook Color converted to a tablet using Cyanogen Mod 7.
I remember a while back before I got my Nook Color and thought, hmmm, what is the point of a 7" tablet? I figured with the screen only a few inches larger than my phone, what was the point.
Well, after getting my Nook Color and using it, then holding and trying to use 10" tablets, I soon realized that for me at least, the 7" tablet form factor is the winner.
So, with that being said, I love my Nook Color and it was cheap. My Nook Color was lacking a few things like GPS, Camera, Mic etc.. I wanted to upgrade and decided on the Acer 7" Iconia.
After messing with for just a day, I can say without a doubt this thing rocks!
I expect it to have issues because it's so new, it's running Honeycomb which is not supported too well just yet. So, other than a few minor issues which I am sure I can work through, I really like this thing.
If you are trying to make a step of from a Nook or make your first tablet purchase and don't want to spend a lot of cabbage, I highly recommend this device.
If you are winey and are expecting a $600 device for $300, then don't buy it.
For me, even though this thing is cheap, I haven't played with a tablet yet that I liked as much as this one. Ipad 2 is a nice device but for me, it's too big, no Flash support, too closed etc..
So, with what I know now, if I was willing to spend $600+ on a tablet, I would still buy this one.
