great update by my battery life has taken a hit since the update for sure. I've done all the cache clears and what not already guess I will give it a few days and see if it calms down at all. am I the only one?

it removed the color dial where you can select your own color lol - I had a custom color for like 18 seconds - stuck with default - but NOW that I can't pick any color I want - I'm mad - lol well not really

Theres a thread somewhere here on the forums that tells you how to change the colors. You need to install ADB on a computer and run a few commands with your phone attached. Very easy to do.

I just got it on my unlocked version.

I love it except for on the home screen when it covers my dock at the bottom of the screen for a few seconds. This happens when I return to the home screen from an app.

Is there any way to not have it do this on the home screen? (probably not, but hey, maybe someone found a way!)

Just got the new update from Verizon today that enables the little button next to the nav bar so you can hide it in apps.

Makes my browser, inbox, Facebook, etc feel a LOT bigger on the screen. Nice to be able to fully maximize the huge screen on the S8+.

Only gripe is that I'd like the nav bar to disappear on the camera as those buttons are more likely to get accidentally pressed in that app (especially if you give the phone to someone else not used to having nav buttons (like iPhone users) to take a pic.)

Otherwise it works on most apps I've tested and loving it!
Thanks for posting. I had not noticed that. ☺️

I can also swipe away the status/notifications bar in most screens! Not sure if that's a Nova thing or a Nougat thing...

I've been having problems with the microSD card reader and FPS since the update. Both have been acting flakey and have required multiple restarts to for them to work.

I know the feature is called immersive mode but I thought it also had something to do with preventing burn in. That's why they also got rid of the black nav bar option. If I use a white nav bar do I need to worry about burn in? I'd think not since all the pixels are on
