Low MFLOPS with Linpack (after Froyo update)

I'm getting around 13 MFLOPS when I run the benchmark app Linpack. I thought with Froyo/JIT Compiler we would see a dramatic increase. Is this normal?

A co-worker who is using the Nexus One is getting around 30 MFLOPS.

The OMAP proc gives low linpack scores anyway. The snapdragon is much better, for whatever reason.

So either it is a poor benchmark for measuring real performance, or the Snapdragon does something over twice as fast and this measure it. Anyone know which it is?

Contrary to popular believe the snapdragon cpu core is great it does things that the omap series wont due until the dualcore version is released is released. Like out of order tasking. The jit just shows that

It's a poor benchmark if you ask me. Look at the 2 big benchmark programs and there are huge differences with the phones in each. The only thing these programs are good to show is software changes.
