Does not get 4g at my house amd im lucky to get 3g,,,,and easily have dropped 50% of my calls.also the texting on this fone sucks lotta keyboard lag..also volume button being opposite of the power button is stupid im always hitting the volume button un intentionally. So very UNIMPRESSED with my first Nexus fone...Where is the so called FAST GOOGLES UPDATES to correct the so many issues?

It came out a month ago. You're being a little unreasonable.

Nothing unreasonable about a well known issue. There are techs out there that get paid top dollar to resolve issues such as the GN has and being an owner of one on launch day signal issue was a big issue for me. Like mentioned when you agree to two yrs on contract you should get what you pay for. We pay good money for data and cell phone use not for a WiFi toy so that's why a week later my GN got returned for my Rezound and I've not had data issues once and get 4g in areas now the GN wouldn't even get 3g

Do you understand how complex cellular radios are? There are about a thousand different things that can go wrong in an update, and Google/Samsung/Verizon are not about to rush an update that could break tens of thousands of handsets. There is a REASON the update is not here yet. Complaining isn't going to do anything to change it.

How long exactly should a "well-known" issue take to fix in your opinion? Did it occur to you might have had a bad phone, a bad SIM card, just about anything? I lost 3G for an entire day. When I took the phone in to my local VZW store, they swapped out the sim card and poof, my 3G worked again. When the SIM went bad, the phone was still able to receive 4G.

The GN is a new phone with a new OS. There are going to be problems. What's even more inexcusable is for either Motorola, or HTC for that matter to still have bugs in the phones they are releasing, especially given the fact the OS they are choosing to use in their phones is more than a year old. Yet, even their phones are not bug free. Look at the crap that TBolt, Bionic, and Charge users have had to go through. Yet, each of these companies continue to crank out new phones with the same OS and really no improvements or corrections to the problems experienced with their other numerous products.

In my opinion you have some unreasonable, and unrealistic demands. Quite honestly, I think you should probably avoid purchasing tech that is first generation and brand new to the market. It is some of these various challenges that will be addressed and corrected in the Nexus that will allow HTC, Motorola, and Samsung to release more refined products in the coming months.

Some people crack me up. They can't relax and wait for a update. But if they rush a half baked update out they would be the first to complain.

From the best android phone PERIOD. Galaxy Nexus.

I had the nexus for 2 weeks...I completely lost data connection in a strong 4g area.
Tried airplane mode to get it back, but that didnt work. Had to shut phone off and turn it back on to get it back. This happened more than once. Also had my wifes razr and the nexus side by side on 3g and checked the dB level. The nexus was 15-20 dB worse than the razr. There is a problem with the radios on this phone.
Had to return it and go back to my old tbolt. No issues ever with it. Hate sense and love the ics and hardware of nexus but need a phone that holds signal
