ITS OUT HOW DO I GET THE NOTIFICATION

Official release date by Sprint is 4/4 although it might be trickling to some phones slowly though out the next two days.

I tried using the LG Updater tool but it shows my Optimus S as up to date as of 5 minutes ago.

I even reverted back to stock ZVD from HydroROM just to taste some official Gingerbread.

The update will kill the root access but I think you have to be on a stock kernal.
That's the main reason I reverted back to stock.

Our phones can still be used as a hotspot for free with out rooting by using the FoxFi app from Google Play.

But really I'm just waiting as every one else is for the ROM devs to chime in with real steps.

Can you guide me to where I nerd to go to get zvd stock recovery I'm on stock zvd didn't understand u if I need to unroot but can u include link for a stock recovery thread

Wow, I don't think I am alone in saying, I doubted it would ever come. Bloody took long enough !!

Can't wait to see what the devs might do with this. I always felt the zvh roms were struggling more to fix 2.3.3 then anything else.

In my opinion I don't think zvh roms will work
Its a new radio and it will be vj not vh so that WILL be a problem

While I believe you are right, don't discount it. Zvc roms worked on zvd albet slightly flawed if I remember correctly. But who would want to keep the flawed zvh radio !!

it even mentions the update coming in the "sprint zone" app. Gives some instructions on speeding up the install process.

While I believe you are right, don't discount it. Zvc roms worked on zvd albet slightly flawed if I remember correctly. But who would want to keep the flawed zvh radio !!

With all the zvh flaws, and than adding in the radio mismatch, it seems like running a zvh ROM on zvj would be like going from having a live hippo in your basement to having a dead hippo in your basement.

Once you install this, if you have any trouble rooting it, jcase's solution should work, and it's pretty easy!

It is not out and its a update that has to be done from stock zvd rooted is ok but u NEED A stock recovery and just wait for it to come out
