The main reason T mobile seems to be goin faster than Sprint is because tmo isn't upgrading all their towers like Sprint is doing only the up to date towers on contrast Sprint is doing all their towers but still I like the speeds.

Read that link. T-mobile is upgrading 37,000 cell towers, which is all of their towers. 90% of their network utilization is on 3G/4G, and every single customer that receives those services will do so from an upgraded tower. Even the small number of 2G towers will be upgraded to run on the different bands.

Interesting read. About a month old. It appears Chicago is doing really well.
Now that lte is there it should even be better.

An LTE test for each carrier was taken in cities across the US. The results? T-Mo average speed: 14 Mbps DL. Sprint's average? 4 Mbps. I'll get the link and post it later.

I think time will tell. So far AT&T and Verizon has done quite a bit. Verizon beats AT&T for coverage hands down. But if Sprint follows through with what they say they will do, Sprint I think will likely shine!
