Im in the citizens bank building near Macy and it is on now most of the day(I practically live at work :-() no speed difference between lte and ehrpd so far but the ping time is less than 100ms.

Im noticing Im getting 4g when I'm on the 23rd floor but not when I'm downstairs on street level. Any ideas why that is?

I have yet to get a signal downtown but I'm always at ground level. Nothing near the casino either, the only place I get good speeds is around the cvs in Crafton.

Anyone else getting the 4g that the data is worse then evdo? I mean there are points where I have no upload at all. Times when I am getting under 100kbps and it's struggling.

Did Sprint announce Lte in your area officially? I live in Miami and it used to be exactly as you are describing it before it was an official city with Lte.

Sprint hasn't announced LTE in the Burgh as of yet. its not even 20% live yet.. Sites broadcasting LTE are probably overloaded while other towers are being upgraded, plus there's still testing involved. As more towers go live with NV/LTE it will take the burden off the Overloaded sites and thing will begin to balance out.

GREAT AMAZING NEWS! At least for Sprint. I for the most part of the day got 1mb+ downtown. Sporadic moments of over 3mbps. I was switching between lte and evdo. Evdo is more consistent than lte but they're doing something.

I've picked up LTE AT several Pittsburgh locations. Kennywood park and most recently at Robinson town center. Also picked it up in the wal mart parking lot sown in Washington. Speeds were nothing to brag about but at least its in testing

Lte is full from pretty much waterworks shopping center to tarentum.

I'm on William Penn place when I'm getting those speeds, next to macy's.
