LTE signal

Recently got a Zenfone 2 which is LTE capable. Using it in Naples/Fort Meyers have not seen it on my phone yet.

4g and it seems adequate but does anyone know if they even have LTE in my area.

You should be able to locate a coverage indicator on your providers website.

The Zenfone will not show "LTE" when connected. If it is showing "4G" that is LTE for these type of phones. Such as I have an international LG G4 and it only shows "4G" since "4G" in the world is LTE unlike the U.S. where they count 4G as HSPA+.

It also depends a bit on the phone. Stock Android devices (like the Nexus devices) specify H or LTE no matter where you are.

The most sure fire way to check this is to go to Settings -> About Phone -> Status and see what it says under Mobile network type.

I know but I have used the Zenfone 2 before -- So I know 4G means LTE .
