Luna Watch Face

Hi everyone!

The Luna watch for Gear S2 has just been released and it's free for a limited time! What can you expect from it?
Weather, Pedometer, Heart Rate Monitor, Notifications, Battery Level, Ambient mode, Moon phase and 140+ color combinations! All in one uncluttered face!

Excellent looks and functionality! Still trying to figure out the battery and steps logic measurement. Could you explain it a bit in details?

I like it. I had to watch your video to figure out what things were though - my old eyes couldn't figure it out on their own. I definitely will use it now that I understand where everything is.

You are the Michelangelo of Gear S2 watchfaces!

And what you get for that is requests for even more: if you made a watchface that included next appointment information displayed around the rim (where you have heartrate info. etc. on Luna), especially if it looks as great as this one, I'd happily pay real money for it. (I've become addicted to Shuisky's "Calendar Analog" watchface on the store for when I'm at work; it's immensely useful, displays my schedule at a glance at my wrist, but not all that attractive. And it's got some bugs.)

I'll definitely try to do a face like that. Right now I'm working on an app which will allow people to load any GWD watch face file directly on their watch without any certificates or programming knowledge! It's hard work, so it might take some time to finish, but I've always wanted to make a calendar watch face, so I'll try my hand at it!

Some of the early Gear S2 promotional material showed this watchface with calendar appointments wrapped around the bottom edge, and for a while it was the great white whale of watchfaces: everyone wanted it, nobody could find it. It was probably just a photoshop job. (And Luna is a better looking watchface in any case.)

are you using openweathermap as weather provider? Currently it shows 6C where I live, while all other providers show 12C... It is way off, usually this happens with openweather

Yes, I am using openweathermap. If you have other providers to suggest for weather I don't mind taking a look if it's worth switching.

Ended up using it today, I really like the blue face, but I've notice some stutter and it has frozen a couple of times. Part of it stays blue and other part in black and white.
Maybe a bug?
I'll try to take a picture when it's frozen. The pic below is just to show the face that I prefer.

Click the tourbillon (circle on the bottom) and you'll be taken to the color changing screen

I love the watch face but the weather never auto updates for me. It bugs me that it doesn't so I went back to a different watch face. Would be nice to fix this or have an option not to display weather since it doesn't work for some.

I also like this color face, but using this color makes the weather invisible. The face also seems to stop when the watch is off, then jumps to the current time when display is activated. Is that the normal operation?

Also can't seem to get the video in this thread to work. Do you happen to have a website or maybe a YouTube link when I can view it?

No response to my post above, but I have stopped using this face, it's too unpredictable, stops, jumps around, loses weather all the time. Nice looking but nonfunctional.

Sorry for the response delay, I've been working on a new app so I pretty much spent all my last two weeks programming non-stop.

The face stops to conserve battery power when the screen is off (all animations and hand-movements stop), as for the weather colour on the blue screen, I will update that to be closer to white after I'm done with my current project. I'll also put an update to the weather to have it better update.
