Hi.

I was just wondering do you guys know if I am affected by the lure module near my location?
Attached is a photo of what I am pertaining to.

All opinions/comments are welcome and appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Probably not, but it should be pretty obvious if you are.

I think if you've gotten close enough to it to spin before, then go to that range you are in right now it should still work. I've done it plenty of times. Never had to stay close enough to spin it, but would still get the pokemon

If it's spinning like that, you should be in a pretty good range. :)

Oh I see.. the pokemons are the only thing that I need for now.
Also, in that range I get about 5 pokemon whenever they use a lure module on that pokestop (poliwag, paras etc.) Does that indicate that the lure module works? What do you think?

Thanks for the comment man! Appreciate it!

Actually it's not spinning. But I do get some pokemons whenever they use a lure module. About 4-5 pokemon. Does that indicate that it affects my current location? and the pokemon I usually see are oddish, doduo, horsea etc.
What's your experience with lure modules? does it guarantee a rare pokemon or something or any unusual pokemon?

No it doesn't guarantee a rare or uncommon pokemon at all. Just seems to attract one every few minutes. I seldom get anything that's not common around lure modules. I've heard if you get between 2 close together (meaning you can collect from both at the same time) pokestops and throw a lure on them both and use an incense you have a higher probability of rares but I haven't tested that yet myself.

Yup, that would indicate that the lure is affecting your current location.

Yes, a lure module will affect the amount of Pokémon you will run into because it attracts them to that current location. Not sure if it means or guarantees that a rare Pokémon will show up, but you never know! The effect lasts for thirty minutes, so you might get something! :)
