I'm new to android, need help

Im really into making videos and uploading them onto youtube, is there a way to pause a video while your recording, like to show different scenes on a how to video for example. All ive been able to do is record all at once, push the camera button again and it stops recording. Your help would be much appreciated.

afaik, there is no way to pause a video and continue with the same file

No, but you can edit the video after the fact and remove footage from the middle...
