Samsung has a promo with a carrier right now that gets you a free 32" LED tv for getting a new galaxy phone, but in order to redeem you need to submit your WiFi MAC address. What would be the purpose of that? Forgive my ignorance, but this seems a bit more nefarious than a simple IMEI request. I'll remove my tinfoil hat long enough to hear your responses.
