I can’t seem to find this feature. I use Google one and I have updated my Google Photos app.
What am I missing?
Thanks

Bring up a picture, then find edit. Should be there.

I have the S23+ and it is not there. I also have a Pixel 7 so I understand how it works, it is just missing.
Thanks for your reply.

What you do is open the image in the Samsung gallery long press the person or animal choose save as it will only outline it then go into clip image's in gallery that's where it will save it

Thanks, but I use Google photos on all my devices, so magic eraser is what I am looking for. Google announced it was now available on iOS and Android devices, but I can’t get it to show up.
Thanks

I believe we're supposed to be able to use Magic Eraser on our Samsung phones while using the Google Photos app just like with the Pixel. So far, I don't have it on my S23U.

It's only working on the gallery photos on my 23 plus it should work on Google photos that is where most of my photos are.

I also have Google 1 and don't see that option on my s23u it has blur with Google 1 symbol next to it , this might be pixel feature only .

Yeah I have Google One and currently only see on my Pixel 7 pro. Nothing on my S23 Ultra yet. Don't think magic eraser is available in Google photos on non Pixel devices.

Article couple of days back that magic eraser is coming to older Pixel phones. So if you don't have a pixel phone, then magic eraser won't be available

Re-read the article.
Edit: It says it's coming to Android and iOS but doesn't say when. Probably a server side update.

So don't we have something called object eraser already?
What's the difference? I think my husband pays for Google cloud storage the article said you get it with Google one storage.

I'm not sure but it think eraser, camouflage, blur, portrait effects etc are done in the cloud. It doesn't use phone resources.
What I hope is they eventually bring photo unblur to Google1 subscribers.

On Samsung, it is called Object Eraser. It came out before Magic Eraser. Magic Eraser is now available in Google Photos to anyone with a Google One subscription. If you don't subscribe, you won't see it. I have the lowest tier at $9.99/yr, and I do see the feature. I played with it a bit, but I think it's any better than Object Eraser.

I love photo unblur. It has done wonders for some of my blurry old photos. Glad that I kept them lol.
