Looks like a quick easy way to do what has been done in photoshop for years. Wish I had this feature years ago, would have made it easier to remove my ex from the family photos.

Everyone does know that the S21 has the object eraser as well right? Just putting it out there that it isn't exclusive to the pixel although they try and promote it that way lol.

This morning I saw "In Depth Tech Reviews" had a video with links to the camera APK but I couldn't get it to download.
So thanks for posting this. I already had SAI installed so I just downloaded the camera apk. Magic Eraser works incredible on my Pixel 4a. I've been having a blast with it.
One thing it doesn't seem to do is pick subjects to erase like it does on the Pixel 6 lines. You have to pick it yourself.
Below are before and after.

No offense but the after looks like it was done by someone learning photoshop, Google has some work to do with their AI. It left shadows in place that shouldn't exist, smudged the table leg, and screwed up the wood grain while smudging over the gap between boards.

But it wasn't Photoshopped. It was on a Pixel 4a. And had I just posted the after I doubt you would have noticed the "flaws".

Of the several photos that I've tried it on it chose the suggested subject in only one, a car antenna. I had to pick the other subjects to erase. I'm looking forward to trying it on the P6P when it arrives Tuesday.
