Mail Account Corrupted

I have three email accounts created on my EVO 4G using the standard mail app. Yahoo, an Exchange Active Sync (Work) and a POP account from my Internet provider.

Twice now my POP account has displayed the inbox of my Yahoo account mail and it contains mail that has been already been read and deleted. If I try to delete any of the listings or read any unread mail in the POP account that is actually from the Yahoo account, I get a force close. The only way to fix is to delete the account and recreate the POP account.

Mine occasionally won't allow me to delete emails. Which I can only fix by deleting and adding the account back. I've never had it post emails to different accounts before though. I don't knower if there is a fix, other then deleting the account though. Mine usually only happens with my hotmail. I don't use Yahoo

Same here sine Gingerbread. I had Comcast & Yahoo accounts.

I solved all the problems in had with the stock email client by downloading the K-9 Mail. Among all the problems I was having was the inability to clear the data files since regardless of having few emails and syncing the last 3 days of email the data file kept growing out of control. You could give K-9 a try and see if you like it.
