Mail app that supports push ("as mail arrives") delivery for custom domain/mail server

Has anyone found a good mail app for their S8/S8+ that supports push notifications/downloads of new mail as it arrives...for custom domains? I have tried everything but it seems like the phone (or maybe its Android) will only support 15 minutes or longer for new mail retrieval.

I am using a custom mail server/domain (hosted via Cpanel server) as I don't use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc for email.

Since I quite frequently depend on the timeliness of my emails, a window of up to 15 minutes before my phone receives the email constantly kills me.

I agree with this. Most email apps will support push for IMAP, Exchange, etc... I personally use AquaMail. It's my favorite of the ones I've tried.

I use Outlook and have no issues with multiple addresses from different domains arriving in real time.

As the above people have mentioned, most any email app supports push. My guess is that when you are installing you are nit using the settings for IMAP or Exchange.

I use Type Mail with both an IMAP account and Exchange account and it works fine. I recommend the app since it has a lot of options and the developer is responsive to email support.

Yeah you should be able to have instant push notifications even with the stock email app. It maybev the way you're inputting the settings of your domain. Are you using POP3 or IMAP?
