MAIL program not working.

Soooo since the update, my email program SUCKS. It works sporadically but normally just says "refreshing" and nothing happens.

Check to see if any of the ports/configuration has changed? Maybe your email server supports a different type of security now? Or.. maybe your security settings got changed on the phone? I'd try those first.

Same issue here. I also tried removing the email account and adding it again and a factory reset but same issue. I used to get exchange emails via push now when I refresh I get nothing and then I'll later get multiple emails at once. If I turn the phone off and then restart it my email will update after restart but that takes a loooong time.

I experienced exactly the same issues with the stock email program on my wife's phone (stock..OTA Froyo) but it worked well on my rooted super clean phone..?? so on advise for this forum, I switched to K-9 mail, and now both phones get all mail on a regular basis, good luck..

X2!! The stock email program on this phone never worked correctly for me from day one. Stock eclair, superclean, stock froyo, debloated, com rom. Didn't matter what I did, it would never send or receive emails unless I rebooted the phone!

All the frustration came to an end with K-9 email. I've not missed an email since, but I'm only using it for a pop account. I was going to configure gmail to push my emails from my other account to my phone, but because K-9 is working so well I never got around to it.
