Major flaw: Clearing Contacts History esp. Texts

I love this phone but this bug is very annoying. I searched the Internet and here as well. It seems like even if you delete texts from the messaging application, they still exist under Contacts/History. They don't go away and you cannot delete them completely.

It doesn't seem like there is a fix for this, not even an app in the market.

Now, my question is this, does Motorola and Verizon know about this? They need to know otherwise. and will Froyo fix this bug?

I agree that there should be a way to delete them but it is not as bad you think. It only stores the last 10 communications with that person including incoming/outgoing calls.

It also includes email and probably social networking if your using the moto features but again it is only the 10 most recent.
