Hey all, I really need some help big time as my keyboard is utterly useless and I can't input text!
Last month around April 20th I used a walkthrough methodto go from the stock rooted froyo to the .588 rooted GB leak, which worked great... for a while. Over the last month of using it I noticed some bugs start popping up and had to do battery pulls quite frequently and debating just sbfing back to Froyo but decided to tough it out until the official release came out. Well for the last few weeks my (stock) keyboard has been very buggy and now degraded to the point of comeplete uselessness. When I start typing in a text field after the first word I input and press the "space" bar the keyboard stutters, then disappears and selects a message in the convo which I have to hit the back button and click on the text input field to bring the keyboard up again but now the text that I am inputing looks like friggin' egyptian heiroglyphics and the keyboard keeps disappearing every time I hit the space. It is literally impossible to get through a text message. Well I installed the .596 GB deodexed file right over the .588 using the bootstrap method and now everything reads updated in my About Phone area, but I am still having this keyboard issue and don't know what to do?!? I am so desperate I don't care that I have all 3 stars, golden eggs, yadda yadda yadda in Angry birds, I'll nuke my phone and start all over if I have to. Any guidance or help please?!?!
