Making Dialer One as Default?

Is there any way to make Dialer One (or any other dialer app) set as the default dialer upon launch? I would like to press the phone button and have Dialer One launch as my phone/dialer app.

Im sure if you root and go edit some files its possible, but I have no idea where to begin...

True, but until the Incredible is rooted I guess I'll have to wait. Thanks.
