Malfunction with original phone headset plugged in Samsung galaxy S 8 plus and o

[Android Central Question]

My original phone headset that the phone Samsung galaxy s8 plus came with stopped producing sound from one of the ear pieces. Plugged it in in different phone and they were working perfectly fine. Could it be the phone headset opening damaged? I don’t know how to fix it. Please advise.

It could be the phone, or the headset. A repairer could fix.

Welcome to Android Central! Do other headphones do the same thing in your S8? If so, it's a problem with the phone's headphone jack. Make sure there's no debris in there -- use a can of compressed air to blow it out, and a toothpick to root around.
