I have not been as lucky. I ordered one at first with the deal confirmed. I then realized I missed out on the free 2 day shipping. I really wanted it in time for my birthday. So I went back and ordered a second one, the preorder showed up fine with the coupon. I ordered it with the 2 day shipping, and then I canceled my first order.

As soon as I got my confirmation email (it took a little while), it charged me full price.

I've called four times and have not gotten them to honor anything yet.

It says delivery estimate March 1-2

I also had a status of "shipped" with no tracking number. I called Motorola a few minutes ago and the support person said that due to a "glitch" in their system, the order had not actually shipped yet. He said the order would hopefully ship on Monday, but didn't sound too sure about that. i guess we will see what happens.

If I don't get it on Monday or Tuesday once I do get it I will call and ask for my 1 day shipping fee back. For no other reason then, why not.

Did you get Motorola to honor your coupon? They are supposed to call me back, but I have yet to get a call. So far no one will give me a definitive answer, and now this thing has shipped.

This is a big fear of mine. My order came to $740 and normally it would be $975. My bank account has a charge pending for $740 so I guess it isn't completely official yet, but it is as if it has been processed and charged. I have yet to get a shipping confirmation email or tracking number though.

From the conversations I've had with them, I think they are going to honor yours. My problem came when my total before checkout showed up with the coupon. Then my confirmation came as full price.

I realize this wasn't meant to be used for the Xoom, but at the same time, I feel they should honor mine if they are going to honor others. I have hard proof that my subtotal showed up discounted. Plus I had placed an order before with the correct price (but wrong shipping method), that I canceled immediately after I clicked buy but before the confirmation came. Yes I know that part is a little bit of my fault probably.

It's not looking too good though. Especially since mine has supposedly shipped. I will probably have to send it back. I got to play with a Xoom at Best Buy. While it was pretty cool and nice, I don't feel it's worth $800+ for me personally.

This is my first Android purchase and I was lucky to get the 25% off yesterday. My status also says shipped, but there is no tracking number.

I called Motorola customer service and they said that there are no tracking numbers generated as no orders have actually shipped. Apparently, though your order says shipped, it takes 24-48 hours to actually ship and only after that tracking numbers are generated.

Not sure whether this is what others have been hearing as well.

Nope, I called moto today and they said it would ship today and I'd get a tracking number this evening. Should be here tomorrow as I paid for next day shipping. Silly since it's probably just going to go up on Ebay without being used.

I called and they stated that it will ship today, after it ships I will get a email with the tracking number.

So I bought my first on contract but got my activation waived. If I return my current one I will loss $70 but I won't have a 2 year commitment. However, I will need to activate my new one for an additional $35. Interesting delema I have. I am leaning towards returning my old one and activating the new 25% discounted one.
