manually check for your update now

I was about to lie down and head off to sleep and o thought to myself why not check and see if the update was there.

Nothing on my home screen.... so I went the manual checking route....

Menu < settings < about phone < system update

It gave me the update to downlaod and is going right now.

Both my phone and my wife's bionic are currently installing... went manual on both of them.

Same here, it loaded this morning after I checked manually. No notificatioms to speak of to let me know it was ready.

When I manually check for up date I get an immediate pop up saying "Check for update not available at this time." I understand that to mean that my phone can not check for updates. Is that right?

Upon your suggestion, manually checked and there it was! Installing as I type.

edit: Installation successful. Wow! What a difference in the responsiveness of the camera and the quality of the image! So far everything seems to work as it should. Battery life is still the question that will be answered over the next few days for me.

edit: I got that message for the past couple of days off and on but it didn't hinder my manually downloading the update this morning or mess with the successful installation.
