Manually updating PRL on Sprint?

So I've been looking for a way to manually change my PRL as I did previously on my GS3. I can access the hidden menu from the dialer but don't see any option for PRL write. Has anyone happened to come across a way to manually change it?

There may be a way with root but IIRC Sprint removed PRL write because they were tired of people forcing over to roaming (so they would roam on Verizon) for coverage.
