Many Notifications Delayed, N20 Ultra

Does anyone experience notifications on some of their apps getting delivered late? For example, one of my weather apps (Today Weather) will alert me that rain is likely at my location @ 7pm, and that alert won't come until 7:20. The COVID tracking is set to remind me to check in at 8am, but that alert often doesn't come in until up to an hour later.

I assume this is some sort of battery saving measure which is holding back some background tasks, but I haven't had luck pinning the exact cause yet.

Or does this device just suck at keeping track of time?? Lol

Hi, check device care any deep sleep apps or sleeping apps?
Hey, yes there are some, but not the ones I'm thinking of. In fact, a little while ago I set a few of the suspect apps to never sleep, but that did not change anything. Screenshot_20210412-205607_Settings.jpg

Thats the stock weather or Google ?
Because they have refresh rate time based you can adjust
It's Today Weather. The widget refreshes every 30 minutes, but alerts like that should come right through, and have on previous devices.

Anyway that's just one example same thing happens with some other apps as well.

Have you tried resetting the app by clearing its data then force stop.it?

Just noticed in the battery optimization settings that not only are the apps in question being optimized (which I turned off optimization to see what will happen), but many system apps have this enabled as well. Do I really want Samsung governing things like "Android System" and "System UI"?? Screenshot_20210415-195820.jpg
