My widget on homescreen to toggle on n off wifi is no longer available, i need to download 3rd party apps.
My sound/silence/ignore button on quick settings that i slide down is no longer available... I need to use volume button to push it down to silence... Which is making the easy way to complicated... Lolipop is such a failure updates... damn regreted to update it... And it drains my phone battery faster than usual... Now i rely on 3rd party apps more than the androids original shortcut button.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you see a Power Control toggle widget in your widget list? That's the native Android toggle bar widget that is still present on my Nexus 5 running 5.1, so see if it's available on yours. Any other wi-fi toggle widget that you had before would have been a preinstalled widget by Sony, not Google, so the people responsible for removing it would be Sony. I prefer using a more powerful and versatile toggle widget, like Power Toggles.

The silencing sequence does require the extra step of pressing the volume button, but it's also pretty quick and convenient to press and hold Vol Down until it decreases to Vibrate Only--is that a reasonable alternative for you?

It can be helpful to wipe the system cache partition after major system updates, which won't erase any personal data: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11663
