March 10!!!

Lol nope. Never. Then again most of the notices i see are emails. Everyone is going paperless these days lol. Me personally, im not buying this as proof. Panda reported the TB to launch in march. This is likely a old flyer with dates of old releases. Why would they show already released items on it? Doesn't add up in my opinion. And thanks for the feedback. Im still trying to get comfortable writing as you will see as i progress.

Hmm. Was the incredible ever delayed? Because this flyer may have the original launch date and not the new date.

Hmm well maybe it's true. Then why was joetheinsider, who attended a meeting about the TB yesterday where he actually used the device, told it would be out next week? I still think next week is more likely. We'll see.

I think this delay is a different than others though...and BB really has no clue due to the fact that its a network issue, not a phone issue. I think they are shooting late since they have been wrong before, and now they can say, "look we have it early!"

Wow can't believe all the March birthdays (me included).

BMX has said that the network issues exist because techs were working on a certain fruit. So now they r back at full staff working on lte. He said he was on it.

He also said he would post/tweet/update if it does indeed look like it will launch prior to his poem.

Regardless...it would be much easier if VZW would just say their worst case scenario...anything prior is a bonus and win for them. This crap of nothing but rumor and speculation sucks and is a huge turn off towards the phone (til I get it in my hands of course). For those of you like me with less patience and nearing the end of yours...go to a store and feel the dummy unit up. It helps. :D

Your birthday is the 10th?
Mine's the 11th!

Maybe, if the TB does not come on the 3rd or 4th, and indeed on the 10th, we can both get it as a birthday present.
That would be a perfect one. :)

Mine is on the 17th. Lots of Pisces on this board.

My upgrade is the 14th. I figure if it comes out either the 3 or 10 they wont give me any issues with moving my ne2 up.

DONE!

I'm done with this...breakthrough tech or not! I'm saying SCREW YOU BIG RED! Dragging along customers is not a way to build intrigue, rather it's a way to lose customers! If it weren't for my family plan being locked, I'd be gone...to SPRINT (Better costs, equally functioning phones) or even CRICKET!! Jeezus...at least they don't F-around with stupid stuff like this. At least make a statement of some sort, Big Red (and not just another commercial telling everyone "It's coming soon!"). Something real, something tangible, something to give us a date/time/place to actually have an answer in our hands...Tell us that there's a problem you're trying to work out first before release...SOMETHING!! Hell, as a matter of principle, we should all blow off the TB and wait for the next one, just to make Verizon lose $$ and make HTC get pissed at them come the next round.

Noticed the trend

Has anyone noticed that whenever a date was rumored and said date was reached, the launch gets pushed back two weeks again by another rumor. This would be the third time.

this means best buy will have my 50 dollars for over a month...i should of waited to preorder then this rent check would be easy put in the mail.

I think its gunna be the 3rd. BGR tweeted a 3rd or 4th prediction last night. This morning BGR tweeted this BB doc, and questioned its auth.

I am seeing a lot more commercials including a HTC Thunderbolt commercial. I think the 28th launch day will actually be a Verizon annoyncment day, for a March 3rd launch.

I tend to agree with those that say this is old and if it is indeed old, it just goes to show that this phone has not been delayed from the original projected launch date, which almost everyone who has been trying to calm people down has been saying.

It may be true that Verizon wanted to get this phone out earlier than March 10th, but just because they didn't come through doesn't mean it has been delayed. Most companies (especially ones like Verizon) are smart and they build a buffer into their delivery/launch date if at all possible in case issues would happen to arise.

I have no doubt that Verizon probably wanted to have this phone out before March 10th, but again this just proves that the original plan has not been affected (i.e. Verizon has done nothing wrong).

i think the best part from all of this is that Verizon never lied, never led anybody on with a delay. the phone was never officially given a launch day, nor has it been anything other than a "rumored" launch day

Just like with the Droid X, OG Droid, Incredible...thy began airing ads weeks prior to launch. I think everyone just needs to sit back, let Verizon announce it, then accept THAT date.

Couple of things... that makes the assumption they hit March 10th. Who is to say that their original plan for March 10th would have even held up without the delays?

The other thing about this that's bizarre is that Verizon cannot accelerate their delivery of new devices. That's kind of troubling for a company as large as VZW and with all the resources they have to make these things happen.

As for "buffers".. those are murder in business. "Buffers" cost money and time and resources. You want to get a device out the door as expeditiously as possible so the resources you have frozen on that product can be rolled to the next (and so on).

Could March 10th be right? Yeah, it sure could be. But a broken clock is right twice a day.
