March Update Update[emoji4]

I keep losing weather in at a glance have to toggle it off and on before it returns.
I completely lost weather in At A Glance with my Pixel 4XL once, either when updating to join a beta or after a stable release coming out of beta. The beta part is not applicable, just that it happened after some sort of system update. In my case I had to clear all data from the Pixel Launcher > reboot and setup my home screens and launcher from scratch. But At A Glance worked great again and never had more problems with it.

Battery life does seem quite a bit better. I took my phone off the charger and it was sitting by itself for 3 hours, 0% battery drain, no ambient display. Did the same thing the next day except just for 2 hours but with ambient display on, there was like 1% battery drain but it was mostly ambient display. I hope this keeps going

I've been just doing some basic Internet browsing looking for tires for one of my vehicles and car shopping and have noticed the back of my phone getting pretty warm. Anyone else have similar happening?

I use to be able to control the backwards and forward skip functions from the drop down menu for Google News and podcast, but that doesn't work anymore after the March update.

My standby battery life has improved greatly since the update. I've been using my 6 as my work phone and my S22 Ultra as my main phone. I got home from work Friday, charged my Pixel then didn't touch it for around 24 hours. Only 1% loss. That's iPhone levels of standby.

I can't say mine is that good but it's on another level compared to before the update. They must have updated the radio.

So I guess Nova doesn't agree with this update. I was experiencing a lot of twitchy response to gestures and battery heat while doing basic tasks. I disabled Nova and went back to the Pixel launcher and wow is it snappy. Haven't noticed the heat issue either but also having completely replicated my actions to test. Has anyone else noticed any glitchy behavior with Nova specifically after this update?

Hmm. Weird. My phone is performing NOTICEABLY faster without Nova going. Maybe I'll try restarting and re-enabling Nova and see how it performs.
