March Update Update[emoji4]

I shoulda known the first Pixel I buy would be the one to start having late/delayed updates. LOL

Do you still have a Samsung phone too, or all in on Pixel?
I actually put my SIM back in my S21 Ultra yesterday for the One UI 4.1 update, hoping for some improvement with the camera and taking pictures of my 2 year old son. No dice. No improvement with blur. I wasn't expecting improvement but I was hoping. I'll be swapping back to the Pixel Monday for the Pixel 6 March update. Otherwise, I swap every couple of weeks, give or take.

March 21 and.... (I know, it's still early in the day. Lol)

Here we are, 3/21/22, still no update.
Looks like we aren't getting an update for March much like the one we never got for December.
If this is going to be the new way Google updates, or in this case doesn't update their new "Flagship (?)" phone they need to be letting their customers know, that's all. Keep us up to date on what's happening and why with the phone they use us as beta testers for.
Google needs to open up that Tensor causes the update schedule to be different from every other Pixel phone to date. That way we can make an honest choice whether we wish to avoid their fickle phones or continue to be unpaid BETA testers for Google after dropping a thousand dollars for their buggy Flagship!
This is just plain and simple BAD business!

I think your post is premature, it's still early in the day. I don't think Google ever officially announced it is coming today.

Premature? Seriously?
All other Pixels still eligible to receive updates got theirs on 3/7/22.
People using Google newest flagship, Pixel 6 & 6 pro have yet to receive consistent timely updates. Updates have been late or non existent much less timely.
The only difference between the other previous Pixels in the 6 line is Tensor, logically Tensor is the problem.
Google surely knew it before the release and seemingly released it anyway using those of us who paid top dollar for their pixel 6 line to be their beta testers.
Everything about this phone and the way Google marketed all of their Pixels have been bad business.
Why else is Google so closed lip about these delays in updates?
IMO it's bad business.
Google advertised the Pixel line as being the first to get consistent updates and security patches, which they have been.. Until Pixel 6 & 6 Pro.. The difference, TENSOR!

The Pixel 5 also had an update or 2 delayed due to 5G. The 6 is not the first to have some delays. We will still get the March update before most other Android phones in the world. And hopefully this will be the last delay for the 6 series.

I just received an email from Google about "enjoy your new Pixel 6 features" so hopefully that means it will start rolling out today.

I got that email. Hopefully not long now.

Yes other Pixel's had delayed updates, but they were usually one offs. The pixel 6 series only consistency has been either delayed/pulled updates. It has to be Tensor. There's no other reason for why it's getting this bad. That plus Google's ZERO communication about basically anything being wrong doesn't help. This whole pixel series just feels like a full blown beta, unfortunately we all paid to participate in it.....

the Pixel line up is still the best phone if you want every update

even no samsung has gotten better i bet it will not get android 12.1 like the pixel phones will

Better be soon, we are running out of March to get the March update in. Getting the March update in April makes it the April update by default.
It will also show updates are coming every other month, again, Google had made no such notifications that's what's
