I've never had any Google Market issues until recently. Now I get a message when trying to install some new apps (not all) saying "This item cannot be installed in your country." In particular, I got this message with Google Catalog and "Holiday Cards by Sincerely Ink."
I live in the U.S., but was visiting Austria when the Honeycomb 3.2 update was pushed to me. (I'm back in the U.S. now.) I'm wondering if installing this update while overseas had anything to do with this error. How does Google determine your country anyway?
Thoughts anyone?
UPDATE: Problem solved. I followed these directions from a320 in this post:
http://www.transformerforums.com/forum/asus-transformer-general-discussions/1730-item-cannot-installed-your-devices-country.html
1. went into settings, applications, and cleared the cache then killed any tasks with the work market in them (there were 3 of them)
2. I then removed all my google accounts
3. Re added my google accounts
I guess my Market was "corrupted" after being overseas.
