just noticed today that 3/4 of my installed apps are not showing up anymore. Running DK28....any clues why this is? Think I should just uninstall the Market & reinstall?

There is a fix for getting missing apps to show back up in the Market, but it requires root access. Are you rooted?

It's a problem with the way your phone is "labeled" in the Market. Certain phones can see certain apps. For some reason DK28 restricts the apps you can see in the Market. A simple edit to a system file can fix this, but it's not accessible without root access.

If you had a backup program (like MyBackup) with those apps backed up you could restore them without using the Market.

What is the processes to fix this? I also noticed this[

In your "/system" folder there is a file called "build.prop". If you like I can edit it for you - just upload it and post a link for me to download.

Thank you for the offer, I can't seem to find the folder "/system"

Assuming you're rooted, download Root Explorer and it will let you view that folder.

Explain this....

30 minutes after my reply last evening, all my apps show up again in the Market. Even now, they are still there...Strange but true...

TV.COM and Daily Strips are missing when I search for them after the DK28 install but they still show up on my wife's 2.1 stock phone. Please explain how to get them to appear again. They also don't back up for some reason...copy protection? Thanks.

I already switched my build.prop with the one from froyo.zip but cannot do the *#*#CHECKIN#*#* on the Epic. It doesn't do anything. I have cleared the cache and data from the market but still can't see those apps. What is left to do? Thanks
