By the time my Tab S 10.5 gets MM Sammy will prob be on a system 4 update for its other devices. Why in hell can you not get MM to us, like NOW, SAMMY? You wanted me to spend big $$$ to get one of these tablets and you give us ONE friggin system update to Lollipop? Do you realize what this does to customer brand loyaty?
........guess not......shame on you.

I agree. I'm not sure I'll ever buy another tablet from them and have warned many friends about this. They should not alienate customers who buy their high end products and are likely influencers.

I'm done waiting. it's there a thread for how to root the Tab S and upgrade it to the latest version of 6.x. I have a "plain" Tab S, i.e. no LTE/Mobile.

Me thinks Sammy sees the writing on the wall that tablets are going the wayside.....so why bother updating?
Would be curious how the S2 tablets (the wannabe ipads) sold.

Seems that way, I don't use my.Tab S much, instead use my Note 5...it would be nice for the same OS. After some searching, seems I can root the device, and then update to a "marshmallow" version.

Looks like tab s isn't getting the mm update because samsung just confirmed it. This was my first samsung purchase and will be the last.

I concur wholeheartedly. I'm the proud owner of a tab s 10.5 for abt a year and a 1/2 and I truly love it. I would especially love the marshmallow OS on my device for a smoother experience. I guess I'll remain hopeful.

Delighted to hear that the Tab-S is getting MM, but why it has taken so long i will never know!!!
Just hope it comes to the UK and to the WIFI-only version! (SM-T800)

I just received a software update to my wifi Tab S 10.5 to Marshmellow 6.0.1 last night.
So it looks everyone should start receiving theirs soon. I'm glad to see that Samsung stepped up for this likely last upgrade.
